Metal Smithing & Jewellery Studio

I absolutely love this sculptured ring above the studio door. The studio is amazing, it has great facilities, and I'm looking forward to seeing what new techniques I can learn with all the equipment.  It's also amazing, that we have keys to the studios and 24 hour access.

We arrived in Chicago on Saturday, we haven't done much since jet lag is kicking in. We went for a walk around the city last night, saw a few things. My favourite was The Bean.

It was so cold! More walking today, and hopefully a few touristy things! :)

Kansas Trip

So my blog already consists of previous and current work, but I will now be using it to update everyone on my studies and experiences whilst I travel.

I will be living in Manhattan, Kansas for 5 months- from January until May. I am going to be studying metal smithing at KSU (Kansas State University) for the second half of my second year, which is just one semester. I am also visiting Chicago and New York and will be posting about the things I get up to there too! So it's not all work work work! :)
